SS might not be needed. But to me, Stainless Steel is just better quality and I decided that it is a MUST for ME. I run Stainless Steel from the Turbos-> exhaust tips. Its just peice of mind, Never to worry about it rusting. I also Use either SS bolts, or Cadmium plated bolts and Anti-sieze on all the bolts so I would never have to worry about it rusting terribly. Its all personal preference. Shawn300zTT
